My memories

In memory of my loveable uncle and godfather. Bill, I will always remember you with a smile for all the fun and laughter that you bought into my life. My earliest memory of you, I was a toddler, was calling you "that funny man." Your love of music, technology and gadgets transfixed me. You were the first person I knew who owned the latest technology - the transistor radio and your 'magic' white box, which at a touch of a button would play my favourite records - what was that machine? These loves in your life made you an excellent DJ. You were my DJ at my 18th birthday party and at my wedding reception - major events in my life. Your talent for photography captured some of my most precious times and added extra colour to them. With these talents and your personality you met many people, famous and not so famous, and left a lasting impression. After Dad's death you were a great comfort - especially to my children. We remember and treasure our memories of holidays with you and 'Navillus', and although we haven't seen you in recent years Lynda always kept us updated on your adventures. You will be greatly missed.
